A Bartlesville woman pleaded guilty in Osage County court to a charge of second-degree murder in the 2012 death of Tim Hauser, 62, of Bartlesville.
Trysta Shaffer, 29, was initially charged with first-degree murder.
During a hearing in Pawhuska on Friday, Shaffer pleaded guilty to the reduced charge. A judge sentenced her to 35 years in prison, with 10 of those years suspended.
In July, a judge ordered Shaffer and Rusty Petty, 42, also of Bartlesville, to stand trial on first-degree murder charges. Petty pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced on December 5.
