Tulsa House Fire Displaces Woman, Three Children

Tulsa Firefighters put out a house fire early Sunday. It was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 5900 block of East Newton Place.

Smoke was showing from the home as the fire spread up into the attic of one bedroom. Firefighters pulled a smoldering mattress out to the front yard.

A spokesperson on scene said they believe the fire was electrical in origin.

A woman and three children were outside the home when firefighters arrived. They have been displaced by the fire.

No injuries were reported.
