A driver was cited for failure to yield after a two-vehicle Tulsa crash. His passenger was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Police say a man was southbound on Sheridan when he turned left onto 31st Street at about 1 a.m. His car struck by a northbound pickup truck.

The passenger in the car that turned left was injured. Police determined the driver did not have a left-hand turn signal and cited him to failure to yield to the oncoming truck.

Firefighters put out a small fire in the engine compartment of the car.

No one in the pickup was hurt.
