The students at Bishop Kelley High School definitely understand what the true meaning of the holiday season is about.
They held a one-day coat drive Tuesday, benefiting Trav's Coats for Kids and they collected more than 850 coats.
Students who donated were allowed to skip wearing their uniform Tuesday, but several told us they were just happy to help others during the holidays.
"I feel like we're are all so blessed in everything that we have and that we really don't appreciate a simple coat and how much that gives to someone," said student Emily Sanderlin.
If you have a new or gently used coat you would like to donate to Trav's Coats for Kids you can drop it off at any Tulsa area Yale cleaners.
