Sand Springs City Manager Announces Resignation

Saying it is time for him to pursue other opportunities, Sand Springs City Manager Rocky Rogers announced his resignation Tuesday.

Rogers has served as city manager since May 2011. His resignation is effective immediately.

Mayor Mike Burdge said the city would begin the process for naming an interim city manager at its next regular meeting on December 16, 2013. Then the city will start the search for a permanent replacement.
