Police say they are looking for a shooter who left one man lying wounded between the gas pumps at a Tulsa Quik Trip early Sunday morning.
It happened around 2:20 a.m. Corporal Scott Anderson, of the Tulsa Police Department, said officers responded to the Quik Trip near East 51st Street and South Yale Avenue and found several people surrounding a man lying on his side.
Police said the victim, a black man, about 20 years old, had at least two bullet wounds to the chest. He was rushed to an area hospital Sunday morning. His condition is unknown at this time and police have not released his name.
According to police, witnesses saw the victim talking with a group of people at the gas pumps just before hearing two shots fired.
Anderson said the suspect or suspects in the shooting may have left in a dark blue Dodge Charger. Witnesses told police they also saw a champagne colored 1990s Ford Crown Victoria leaving the scene after the shooting.
