Craig County Authorities Search For Prison Escapee

The search continues for an inmate who escaped from a correctional center in Vinita Sunday evening.

The NortheastOklahoma Correctional Center says Stephen Barbee, 25, was last seen at 5:20 p.m.

Barbee was serving time out of Delaware County for convictions of possessing stolen property, assault and battery and participating in a riot. They say he is considered armed and dangerous.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections did not say how he escaped.
