Car Wedged Under Truck In Crash Near Tulsa International Airport

Tulsa Police investigated a crash on East Virgin just west of the westbound Highway 11 airport exit Monday morning.

Officers say two people in a Toyota Celica escaped serious injury in the 7:30 a.m. crash.

The Celica collided with the side of a container truck and became wedged underneath.

Police said the driver of the truck wasn't injured.

The crash happened in front of the Hilton Garden Inn at Tulsa International Airport and backed up traffic exiting for the airport.
