The City of Tulsa got some good news on the budget this week.
Sales tax figures came in slightly higher than expected.
The city got a monthly check totaling almost $21 million.
That's $100,000 thousand more than what was budgeted.
The gap between income and spending is much larger. It is estimated at $6.4 million.
The budget has to be balanced by the end of the budget year, which is June 2014.
