Bixby Man With 9 DUI Convictions Arrested Again

News On 6 did some checking, and an ex-con arrested by Tulsa Police for driving under the influence on Friday morning has nine previous DUI convictions.

Thomas Supernaw, 45, of Bixby, was convicted of DUI in 1988 and driving while impaired in 1989.

In 1992, he twice pleaded guilty to DUI charges.

Then again, in 2001 and 2005, he entered a guilty plea to driving drunk.

Supernaw was arrested for DUI three times in 2009, and each time he pleaded guilty.

Supernaw was arrested again Friday for DUI and reckless driving after a high-speed chase on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Officers say the chase started after they were responding to a domestic dispute.
