Hollywood Producer Visits TU Film Students

Hollywood came to Tulsa for some University of Tulsa film students on Thursday.

Director, editor and producer Ed Ornelas helped them with a film shoot.

Ornelas has worked on over 50 episodes of Grey's Anatomy and has worked with major networks such as Lifetime and Showtime.

TU student actors and production crew members experienced what it was like getting real direction on a working set.

"I love working with the students, because everyone is so hungry and so eager to learn, and I try to bring to them a little bit of Hollywood," Ornelas said. "And being very precise and detail-oriented and really trying to get perfection."

This isn't his first visit to TU.

Ornelas helped direct a shoot for a production class last year as well.
