It's one of the greenest schools in green country. Tuesday, Oklahoma State University's Tulsa campus was honored for the record amount of energy it has saved: nearly $3 million worth.
As a thank you, PSO rewarded the school with a big check. But OSU says it's not just about the money.
"Frankly, it's the right thing to do. But it's really nice when it actually pays off. You get to do the right thing and you get paid," said Howard Barnett, President of OSU Tulsa.
CEO of PSO, Stuart Solomon said, "It's a true win-win, both for us as a company but certainly for customers just like OSU Tulsa."
OSU recycles, and over the past several years, they've installed hundreds of energy-efficient lights and water-efficient toilets on campus.
