Muskogee County Sheriff Deputies are searching for a killer Saturday evening, after a man is shot multiple times outside a friend's home.
Investigators say it happened around 12:30 Saturday morning on Osage Avenue in Haskell.
Family members tell us the victim is 24-year-old Codye Burris Johnson.
Investigators say they don't have a motive for Johnson's killing, but family members believe it was a case of mistaken identity.
A white truck and a car were seen speeding away from the scene just moments after the shooting.
If you know anything that can help investigators, you're asked to call the Muskogee County Sheriff's Department at 918-687-1275.
News on 6 reporter Grant Sloan spoke with the victim's family and will have more on the investigation in the 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
