Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a Sequoyah County man missing since Saturday.
Albert Eugene Mears, 79 has no known medical issues and his disappearance has come as a shock to his family.
According to CBS affiliate KFSM, Mears left without his cell phone and authorities haven't seen any activity on his bank account.
Mears' wife told KFSM the couple is getting ready to celebrate its 58th wedding anniversary, and the idea of him not returning home scares her.
"I thought maybe he's had a wreck and killed himself or something," Helen Mears said. "I thought we'd probably know where he's at or get a phone call or something from him."
Authorities say they have had little to no leads, but plan to search until the man is found.
"We've checked everywhere," Sequoyah County Undersheriff Roger Fuller said. "I know the family's been looking for him also, and there's been no sightings or anything. So we think he's probably not even in our county."
Mears was last seen leaving in a 2008 black Toyota car on 4740 Road in Muldrow. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white Nike tennis shoes.
If you spot Albert Mears, you are asked to call your local authorities.
