The U.S. Geological Survey reports a small earthquake has been recorded near Yale.
The USGS says the 2.5 magnitude quake was recorded at 2:20 a.m. Sunday two miles southwest of Yale, about 60 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are general the smallest that are felt by humans and that damage is not generally seen from quakes below magnitude. 4.0.
