Construction Causes Major Traffic Delays On Will Rogers Turnpike

Troopers say construction has clogged up traffic on the westbound Will Rogers Turnpike, near Afton and Miami.

They say there hasn't been an accident, it's just heavy traffic slowing things down in an area where there's only one lane open due to construction.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said they have a trooper in the area keeping an eye on things.

One viewer stuck on the turnpike reported they had traveled about seven miles in an hour.
