The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority will hold a ceremony Thursday afternoon marking the completion of an eight-mile expansion project on the Creek Turnpike in south Tulsa.
Officials say the $57 million project, begun in May 2012, increases capacity of the turnpike by 50 percent between Highway 75 and Memorial. The widening project increased the number of lanes from two to three in each direction
