A shootout at a private Tulsa club left one man dead and two others wounded. A fourth person - a woman running from the bar - was hit by a car.
Tulsa police were called to Hillcrest at 3 a.m. after 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital emergency room.
Two other wounded men, both 23 and in critical condition, were also shot at the club at 5528 East 11th Street.
Captain Cathy Reynolds said officers were sent to the club where they found "a considerable number" of shell casings outside.
"Evidently the club is rented out for private parties," Reynolds said.
A 20-year-old woman was apparently hiding in the bar when the shootout took place. She ran out into 11th Street and was struck by a car that did not stop. Police don't know if the driver had been at the club.
The young woman is expected to survive. She was conscious and speaking after the hit and run, Reynolds said. Police say she had lower body injuries including at least one broken leg.
Sergeant Chris Moudy said police found shell casings on both the south and north sides of 11th Street.
Police were still contacting family members of the victims Saturday morning.
