Tulsa Police say an alert officer helped recover a stolen pickup as well as stolen credit cards and checks.

The officer was on patrol at about 1 a.m. Friday when he saw the truck parked near 51st and 33rd West Avenue.

As the officer walked toward the pickup, three men jumped out and ran away.

Police said they found drugs, stolen credit cards and stolen checks inside the truck.

Officers searched the neighborhood and arrested Jason Jackson, 31, and Zacharias Salazar, 25, on burglary and drug complaints.

Police said they questioned the third man but decided not to arrest him.

Officers booked Jackson and Salazar into the Tulsa County jail.
