Oologah Pastor Staying 'Up In The Air' To Raise Funds For Missions

An Oologah youth pastor has been sitting in a deer stand since Sunday evening, in hopes of influencing the young people in his church.

If you've passed the Oologah Assembly of God on Highway 169, south of Oologah, you may have seen the man in the deer stand next to the highway.

Rick Wells went there to ask him what it will take to get him down. Pastor Thomas Buchanan said he's staying put until he raises $3,000 for worldwide and local missions.
