Voters in several communities will head to the polls Tuesday to decide on bond issues.
In Jenks, voters will be deciding on an $11.7 million dollar bond issue for roads. If the bond passes, some of that money would go to widen Main Street, making it four lanes from Elm to Highway 75. It would also pay for some changes along 111th and Elwood. But the biggest chunk of the money would go to revamp the Elm Street and Creek Turnpike interchange.
People in Jenks will also be voting on a $2 million bond issue to pay for sewer system repairs.
Glenpool residents will vote on a .6-cent sales tax for public parks.
And folks in Collinsville and Chouteau-Mazie will be deciding on school bonds that would build new schools in those districts. The school bonds need a 60 percent approval to pass.
