For the second time in one week, an Oklahoma recreational area was the site of a sex sting operation. On Tuesday, Wagoner County Sheriff's Office arrested three men at the Lock and Dam 17 park area just northeast of Highway 69 and West 90th Street North on the Verdigris River.

Sheriff Bob Colbert initiated the investigation after getting reports of illegal activity at the park. Undercover deputies worked the area on October 1 and made three arrests.

Brian Helt of Oktaha, 39, was arrested for indecent exposure and engaging in lewdness. Larry Terry, a 64-year-old Coweta man, was arrested for engaging in lewdness. Porter resident Robert Taylor, 47, was arrested for indecent exposure.

In a news release, Sheriff Colbert said he hopes the arrests will eliminate future problems in the area.

On September 26, 2013, Rogers County Sheriff's Office conducted a similar effort at 33 Landing where they made arrests, including one man with high heels and lingerie in his vehicle.
