Tulsa Man Sentenced For Killing His Wife In 2012

A Tulsa man convicted of killing his wife followed by an officer-involved shooting at the scene of the crime in 2012 was sentenced to prison Friday.

A Tulsa man convicted of killing his wife followed by an officer-involved shooting at the scene of the crime in 2012 was sentenced to prison Friday.

Jose Lozada, 58, was sentenced to life plus another 20 years with credit for time served.

Tulsa police found Lozada outside his home in the 2000 block of North Delaware in June of 2012.

Police say an officer shot him in the arm after Lozada refused to drop a gun. His estranged wife was found shot to death inside the home.
