Dozens Of Counterfeit $100 Bills Found In Antlers Woman's Car, Police Say

An Antlers woman is in the Tulsa County jail after officers discovered nearly 50 counterfeit $100 bills in her vehicle.

According to an arrest report, police were called to the Hobby Lobby at 71st Street and Mingo for a disturbance in the store.

Amanda Marie White, 38, attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill and was handcuffed and escorted to the store's office to wait on police, the report says.

During the investigation, White told police she got the bill at Home Depot. When TPD contacted Home Depot, they were told White passed a counterfeit $100 bill with the same serial number, the report says.

Officers also discovered multiple counterfeit bills in White's vehicle.

White was booked for 44 counts of uttering counterfeit currency and two counts of uttering a forged instrument. She is being held in lieu of $46,000 bond.

TPD also contacted the U.S. Secret Service.
