Sand Springs Man Accused Of Kidnapping, Molesting Teen

A Sand Springs man is in jail accused of kidnapping and molesting a 13-year-old girl this week.

Jail records show the mother called Sand Springs Police telling them her daughter may be a runaway.  

Witnesses told officers, they saw the girl with Christopher Hamilton, 24, at an apartment in the 1000 block of North Wilson.

After confronting Hamilton at his apartment, the report states officers searched the apartment and found the girl sitting in a bedroom closet.

The report says the mother told police her daughter has the mental capacity of a six-year-old.

Hamilton told police after they found the girl, "she came knocking on my door asking for help."

After the victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out, Sand Springs Police arrested Christopher Hamilton and booked him into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of obstruction, lewd molestation and kidnapping.

Bond for Hamilton was posted at $75,500. Records show he has a September 25 court appearance.
