Ride Along With Tulsa County Deputies In Citizens' Academy

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a few good men - and women - to take part in a Citizens' Sheriff Academy later this month. The Academy takes place on Monday evenings over an eight-week period starting September 23.

Academy Coordinator Bonnie Fidler says there are only seven citizens signed up for the fall academy which means there are several slots open.

People enrolled will experience:

• Tours of the TCSO facilities
• Lessons on common calls like domestic violence and traffic stops
• Ride-alongs with deputies to see real-life law enforcement
