A major classroom makeover for some second graders at Monroe Demonstration School was unveiled Monday.
Their classroom was originally just bare, white walls. All it took to change that was a phone call from a Monroe parent to the KSQ Architect firm.
"I mean lets face it, our kids they are seven years old and they are spending the majority of their day here," said parent Melissa Lukenbaugh. "And we want them to feel like it's their own space."
Parents hope the new explorers-themed classroom will put the students' imaginations into overdrive.
