A judge followed a jury's recommendation Monday and sentenced a convicted Tulsa killer to two life sentences without parole.

Zane Atchison was arrested after stealing a pickup truck the day after the murders of Patrick Shawn and Kaylyn Kosofsky.

Prosecutors say Atchison killed them in August 2011, over a large drug debt owed by Shawn.

The District Attorney had asked for the death penalty.
