A Tulsa man was arrested for felony domestic assault and battery after reportedly holding his girlfriend's arm to a hot stove top and trying to strangle her. Shane William Freeman, 22, is in the Tulsa County Jail.

Police say Freeman's victim was unable to tell them what happened because she was unconscious.

A witness told officers Freeman was intoxicated and started arguing with his girlfriend. He pushed her to the floor and "began kicking her face and torso multiple times," an arrest report states.

The witness also told police Freeman held his girlfriend's right arm to the stove two days before.

"Victim had extensive trauma to her face, black eyes swollen shut, a large burn on her right arm and red marks and bruising around her neck consistent with being choked by suspect," the arresting officer said in the report.

Freeman told police he had "chugged" alcohol from the liquor store and "got stupid with her." He said the last thing he remembered was arguing and "punching on her."
