The body of a 3-year-old boy, who went missing from his grandparents' home on Friday, was recovered from the Grand River, sources say.
Grand River Authority spokesperson Justin Alburty said the toddler's body was found before 7 p.m. on Saturday, a mile to a mile and a half from the original search area, which was downstream from the Pensacola Dam.
The boy's mother was in a bass boat with searchers when the body was found, Alburty said.
On Friday, authorities found the child's T-shirt and shoes on the river bank. Osage Sky News 6 flew overhead as divers and SONAR-equipped boats searched water up to 22-feet deep.
The search resumed at daybreak on Saturday.
