The body of a 3-year-old boy, who went missing from his grandparents' home on Friday, was recovered from the Grand River, sources say.

Grand River Authority spokesperson Justin Alburty said the toddler's body was found before 7 p.m. on Saturday, a mile to a mile and a half from the original search area, which was downstream from the Pensacola Dam.

The boy's mother was in a bass boat with searchers when the body was found, Alburty said.
