Tulsa Women Fall To Arkansas

The Tulsa women's soccer team fell to Arkansas on the road, 1-0. It was the first loss of the young season for TU.

The University of Tulsa women's soccer team fell to Arkansas, 1-0, on Wednesday night at Razorback Field in Fayetteville, Ark. TU dropped to 3-1 on the season, while UA moved to 5-0 overall.

The Golden Hurricane and Razorbacks battled for the first 65 minutes, but neither team found the back of the net until Alexandra Fischer put UA on the board and scored the game-winner at the 65:37 mark.

Arkansas took a 15-4 lead in shots and a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.

TU's Roman Edwards, Kajal Parmar, Lauren King and Alexa Sidorakis all had one shot in the contest, while Hayley Harryman logged all 90 minutes between the posts for six saves.

Tulsa will return to action on Friday, Sept. 6th against cross-town rival Oral Roberts. Game time is set for 7:00 pm at the Case Soccer Complex on the ORU campus.
