Shock Center Out For Season With Ankle Injury

Center Elizabeth Cambage will be out for the remainder of the 2013 season with a left sprained ankle.

Cambage's status was day-to-day after the injury but the injury has not healed as expected.

Cambage will be traveling home to Australia on Wednesday to begin rehab on her ankle.

The 6-foot-8 Cambage was averaging career bests of 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds and won Western Conference Player of the Week twice in 2013.

Tulsa (10-20) stands in last place in the Western Conference with four games remaining.

In Cambage's absence former Sooner star Courtney Paris logged season highs in minutes (23) and rebounds (13) and tied her highest point total (10) of 2013.
