Another Tulsa Street Closed Due To I-44 Widening Project

Drivers won't be able to use 51st Street between Peoria and Lewis for the next four weeks according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

ODOT says the eastbound road on the south side of I-44 will be closed Tuesday, September 3, 2013 because of work on the interstate highway widening project.

The Lewis and I-44 interchange is already closed because of the project.

People who live in apartments near the construction zone got a notice over the weekend about the 51st Street closure between Peoria and Lewis.
