A Tulsa man accused of kidnapping a motel guest after a robbery waived his right to a trial and entered a guilty plea Tuesday.
A judge sentenced James Darnell to 10 years in prison for robbing the Motel 8 at 32nd and Memorial in June.
Police say, after the robbery, Darnell ran from police into a Days Inn not far away and forced a motel guest to go to the roof.
After Darnell went back to the room, police used a K-9 officer to arrest him.
A kidnapping charge against Darnell was dismissed Tuesday.
