Cherokee Nation marshals recovered nearly $180,000 worth of marijuana plants in Delaware County Monday.
While working with the task force for the District 27 District Attorney's Office, the marshals recovered 120 plants in the town on Kenwood.
"The Cherokee Nation Marshal Service works diligently in our communities on the eradication efforts of marijuana and other illegal drugs," Cherokee National Marshal Capt. Danny Tanner said. "Right now it is the peak of marijuana season, and we will continue working our target counties."
They say each one has a street value of $1,500.
