Police say they had a man who robbed a Tulsa McDonald's in custody within just 10 minutes Thursday.

Officers say Michael Ruble, Jr. went into the restaurant at 31st and Memorial, knocked down a clerk and stole cash. He ran off, but police spotted him and chased the man to a nearby business.

Ruble climbed a fence, but didn't stay on the property long, police said. Officers had him surrounded, and as he tried to get away, he literally ran into a police car and was subsequently arrested.

Both Ruble and the clerk were checked out at a hospital. Ruble was then booked into Tulsa County jail on complains of first degree robbery by force or fear, eluding, and assault and battery with intent to commit a felony. His bond was set at $6,500.
