Police followed the trail of a Dodge Challenger most of the morning, after they say it was stolen by two men outside an East Tulsa bar around 2 a.m.

One of the victims said she had a double-barrel shotgun held to her head and was ordered to get out.

According to police, that was just the beginning of what the two suspects would get into over the next few hours.

Hours later, police say, they forced their way into a home at 1700 block of North Atlanta Place.

"They're not going to be that hard to find," James Grimes said. "Especially when you're that stupid to leave fingerprints all over the place."

According to Grimes, the men were unmasked when they invaded his home and held his family at gunpoint.

"They were very recognizable," he said.

Grimes said the entire family was asleep when the men forced their way inside his home. One was armed with a shotgun, the other possibly with a pistol.

"I just blacked out," Grimes' son said.

Grimes son was the first to confront the two men.

"I thought the smart thing not to fight, especially if it's loaded," he said.

Grimes' son said the family was forced to stay in a back room as the men grabbed two flat-screen TVs.

"My mom was sitting on the bed holding a pillow against her, frightened to death, because she has a gun pointed at her," he said.

To make matters worse, the men forced the 17-year-old to load his own televisions into the stolen car.

Police found the car later a few miles away at 54th and Garrison.

Grimes said he went to check out the area for himself, and after talking with neighbors who saw the men, he believes the suspects have to live nearby.

"You don't just leave a car, lock it up, and then walk away from it carrying a gun and two TVs," he said.

Grimes said no one was injured in the home, and he plans to get a gun for his wife.

The men are described as black males, one between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-1. The other is described as being between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6 and about150 pounds. Both are said to be between 18 and 22 years old.
