Investigators say a homeowner caught a man trying break into his home Wednesday afternoon near Archer and Hudson in Tulsa.
Police say a neighbor called the man, so he drove home and found the would-be burglar with an armful of stuff taken from the backyard.
Dustin Dee Peabody, 32, was booked into jail on complaints of first and second degree burglary, and grand larceny.
"The suspect dropped the items and the homeowner held the suspect at gunpoint until officers arrived and took the suspect into custody," said Sgt. Matt McCord.
Tulsa Police say the suspect told them he had smoked K-2, which is a synthetic marijuana.
Records show Peabody previously served time for possession of a controlled substance and is currently serving a suspended sentence for entering with intent to steal copper.
Peabody's bond was set at $54,000.
