A three-run top of the ninth inning proved to be the difference Wednesday night, as San Antonio defeated the Tulsa Drillers, 4-0.

San Antonio led 1-0 heading to the top of the final inning, but iced the game with three insurance runs that put the game out of reach on a night when the Tulsa bats were ice-cold.

Four San Antonio pitchers combined to limit the Drillers to just two hits and one walk.

Matt Wisler picked up the win, striking out six Tulsa batters in the process. Matt Stites worked 1.1 innings for his ninth save of the season.

Chad Bettis took the loss for Tulsa despite allowing just two hits over five innings of work.

San Antonio picked up its runs on a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning and a pair of RBI singles in the ninth.

The two teams are back in action tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.
