A motorcyclist was killed in midtown Tulsa, after ramming into a truck. A witness said the motorcyclist was popping a wheelie just before the wreck.
Police were called out to the crash at about 2:15 a.m. at 49th and Memorial.
They say a group of motorcyclists were heading south when a truck turned in front of them, at the 49th Street intersection.
One of the motorcyclists hit the truck in the front passenger side.
Police say the woman driving the truck was very shaken up but OK.
Witness Bradney Chitwood said he saw the rider popping a wheelie just before the wreck.
"It's hard enough seeing a motorcycle any other time, you know, even during the daylight," Chitwood said.
"If his headlight's pointing straight up in the air - I would think if he was still in the air when that truck pulled through, he probably never saw him."
The motorcyclist later died from his injuries.
Police were still investigating the fatality wreck, but no charges had been filed.
