An 82-year-old Tulsa man lost his life Saturday following a single-vehicle crash in Rogers County. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the wreck.

Troopers say Luman Wilcox was driving northbound on County Road 4120 south of Verdigris at about noon when his Chevrolet Suburban left the road and smashed head on into a tree.

Wilcox was taken to a hospital where he died, according to on scene reports.

Authorities believe Wilcox suffered from a medical condition that caused the wreck and his subsequent death.

Verdigris Fire Department assisted with the wreck response.
