Man Convicted Of 2011 Tulsa Walmart Parking Lot Murder Gets Life Sentence

A Tulsa County judge followed the jury's recommendation and sentenced a convicted killer to life in prison with the possibility of parole Monday.

Desjuante Boyd will also have to serve an extra five years for robbery.

Boyd was convicted in May of shooting a man in his car in the Walmart parking lot at 66th and Memorial, back in August 2011.

Police say Boyd was robbing the man and shot him in the head.
