Authorities have seized an explosive device after an incident at a propane company Thursday afternoon, reports say.

Police confirmed they seized the device and also found other explosive components, a firearm and ammunition for the gun.

Tahlequah Police say the incident began when a man came to the Amerigas facility in Tahlequah around 12:15 p.m. and began acting strangely. He was eventually taken to a hospital for observation, but police were called to investigate a backpack he left behind.

The highway from Willis Road to the Highway 82/62 junction was closed and business and homes in the area were evacuated.

SkyNews 6 was flying over as technicians went through the backpack and walked away with it. We also saw traffic backed up for miles in that area.

Investigators said they have an unnamed suspect, but there have been no arrests.
