Tulsa Driver Mistakenly Hits Accelerator, Plows Into Apartment

A car slammed into a midtown Tulsa apartment complex on Saturday night.

Just before 8 p.m., a driver said she accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake, which took her trunk-first into an Executive Manor apartment, Tulsa police said.

The collision did significant damage to the brick building.

Neither the driver nor the man inside the apartment were hurt.
