Sir Paul McCartney's "Out There" tour will come to Tulsa as part of the BOK Center's 5th Anniversary celebration. The former Beatle will return to the BOK May 29.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 12.
A BOK release states: "Paul McCartney's 'Out There' tour will feature brand new, never before seen production and, as ever, hours of material from the most beloved catalog in popular music, with Paul performing songs spanning his entire career - as a solo artist, member of Wings - and, of course, The Beatles."
John Bolton, general manager of the BOK Center, made the announcement Friday morning. He noted that 3.2 million tickets had been sold since The Eagles performed five years ago in the venue's grand opening.
"The BOK Center has become a shining example of what happens when local citizens come together and invest in a public project through an effort like Vision 2025," he said.
Sir Paul played to a sold-out crowd in August, 2009 during the BOK Center's first anniversary celebration.
