Oklahoma Congressman Jim Bridenstine weighed in Tuesday on the sequester situation with sharp criticism of government spending.
Bridenstine was back in Oklahoma touring several businesses.
He said lawmakers need to do a better job of reining in spending.
"The issue is spending. We have to control spending and the sequester is an inappropriate way to control spending," Bridenstine said. "We've got to do real reform to big parts of the budget that are going to make our country bankrupt and those include Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security."
