Hit And Run Driver Causes West Tulsa Natural Gas Leak

Police say a hit and run driver caused a natural gas leak early Tuesday.

Tulsa Police say a driver apparently lost control of his or her vehicle near West 53rd Street and South 37th West Avenue and struck a natural gas meter.

The vehicle then drove off.

When police and Tulsa firefighters arrived they found natural gas leaking from the meter. They called in ONG crews to stop the leak.

Police are still investigating the crash.
