A Rogers County Deputy and his K9 partner arrested three people after searching a rural Claremore area home near Mony Trail. Michael Anthony Tran, Rachel Steele and Timothy Lane Lunsford were taken into custody Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Deputy Quint Tucker followed an informant's tip and found ICE, or crystal methamphetamine, paraphernalia and $860 cash in the residence. He and his dog also discovered Steele's 18-month-old child playing in the room where the drugs were kept, according to Deputy Jerry Smittle.

Smittle said Steele used the mailbox to leave drugs for buyers to come by and pick up.

"I don't know if they were pre-paid," Smittle said Monday morning. "I doubt you could really use the honor system."

The department took a photo of K9 Officer Jack resting on a patrol car with the confiscated items.

"It was a good, good find for Deputy Tucker and good work on the behalf of his K9," Smittle said.

Rachel Steele, 22, is being held without bond on complaints of trafficking in illegal drugs, child endangerment and unlawful possession of paraphernalia. Michael Tran, 27, is being held on a $25,500 bond on complaints of child endangerment, possession and distribution of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Timothy Lunsford was booked on a complaint of possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding traffic complaint.

Grandparents now have custody of the child, Smittle said.
