The trial is scheduled to begin Monday for a woman accused of pushing her husband out of their high-rise Tulsa apartment building in 2011.

Prosecutors offered Amber Hilberling, 22, a plea deal Friday, but she rejected it, opting instead for a jury trial on a charge of second degree murder.

The state claims Hilberling pushed her husband out of a 25th floor window at University Club apartments. She has countered that claim, saying she was defending herself and that her husband, Josh Hilberling, 23, tripped and fell out of the window.

Hilberling has also filed a wrongful death suit against the management at University Club Tower, claiming the windows were dangerously thin.

A Tulsa County judge ruled Friday the jury won't be allowed to see autopsy photos, but will see crime scene photos. Also, the couple's toddler, Levi, won't even be allowed to be on the same floor as the trial.
