A Tulsa police officer on patrol spots a home on fire and calls for assistance late Sunday. It happened at 10:40 p.m. in the 4300 block of Charles Page Boulevard.

"We were on patrol in the area; saw a bunch of flames coming out of the back window. And, uh, just approached the house, tried to make sure no one was inside. Broke out the front window, kicked the door open," said TPD officer Michelle Armentrout.

Fortunately, no one was inside the home.

Tulsa firefighters were able to put out the flames quickly.

Electric service was not connected to the home at the time of the fire.  Tulsa Fire says the cause remains under investigation.
